1920's Hong Kong Travel Poster

A three colour screen print project inspired by 1920's railway posters. My idea was focused on the culture in Hong Kong. In New Territories, you see many red lanterns decorating garden areas, with red pagodas being a central meeting points or all ages. You see red shops signs and red writing all over.

At the same time, Hong Kong is immensely westernised. Hong Kong, for example, has a strong western culture, with it's bars, clubs and contemporary shopping centres. Skyscrapers are everywhere in Hong Kong, and the distinct skyline across Victoria Harbour is a sight definitely to see during the night.
